I just finished publishing a new cookbook titled “Civil War Era Recipes Compiled from Historical Cookbooks”. The book is available in printed paperback or downloadable via ebook. There are over 40 pages of original recipes found in old cookbooks from the mid to late 1800′s.
So much fun to read, and a valuable resource for any Civil War reenactions. I did not change any language, grammar or spelling for this cookbook. The recipes were printed just as I found them in the antique cook books. This was so much fun putting together, and very hard to choose which recipes to include!
The cost for the printed version is $35, and the ebook version is only $4.99. Available on lulu.com

I started a new website back in March, called American History Fun Facts. This was my first website (but it won’t be my last) using the SitSell Site Build It! program, and I have to say… I’m very impressed!
My first attempt at a website was not very successful. Traffic is low on my handcrafted jewelry website – Julia Hutchins Designs. When I decided to build a new website, I wanted to make sure that it was successful. With the SBI! program, I felt sure that my new site would be just that.
It’s been successful beyond what I could have imagined, in only a few short months. I can’t wait to see wait the next six months bring! My traffic stats are shown below, starting with my first partial month in March, and going through August 1, 2010.
As you can see, my traffic is great for a new site! Visitors more than doubled last month! My bounce rate is in the low 20′s, depending on which source I use to look at it. I’m completely sold on SBI! and will definitely build my future sites using their program. I have to do the hard work on my website, but SBI! provides exactly the tools that I need to do it! That, along with the knowledge they provide with their 10 step Action Guide, gives me everything I need to build a successful website.
SiteSell offers a monthly plan that you can cancel any time. If you are wanting to build a successful online business, or even make your current business more successful on the internet, I highly recommend trying their monthly plan.
If you want to watch some videos of other SBIer’s who are running their own successful businesses, read some of their stories here.
